Christmas & New Year's

We had a wonderful Christmas here in Arizona!  This year, Wylie says we crossed over to the dark side and bought our 1st artificial Christmas Tree.  I couldn't be more happy about it!  No clean-up, no watering!  And I just love this 9ft. beauty.  It looks great in our new home!

October 2009

October 2009 was such a fun month for us. We had many events going on like Wyatt's Flag Football, Ms. Camille's Pumpkin Carving Party, Wyatt's Classroom Party, Hunter's Birthday and Halloween, just to name a few.

Here are a few snapshots from our busy month, hope you enjoy!

Watching outdoor movies in costume at Max & Cameryn's party the weekend before Halloween

I made Pumpkin Pie Bites for Wyatt's Class Halloween Party.
I got the idea from Bakerella's blog. They turned out soooo cute!!

On Hunter's birthday morning, Oct. 3oth, we passed Wylie on his train. He was able to stop the train and give Hunter a short ride. This was Hunter's 1st time on the "choo choo", so he was so excited!! He even got to blow the horn!

TuTu sweet

I've been inspired by my two Sarah friends to make Hannah a sweet little Tutu and I've had the crafting/sewing bug lately, so here goes! I got some tips from The Idea Room too!

My materials I started with...two yards each of tulle (pink and white), an elastic band made to fit Hannah's sweet little waist.

Finished product!! This was a big hit.

Look, I'm a ballerina!

Talkin' on the phone with Nanna about her new tutu that Momma made.

Hannah came down the stairs in her princess skirt, sunhat and dress-up necklace. All she was missin was her click-clack high-heel shoes!! She definitely has a great sense of style!!

Hunter and Hannah were so tired on the 1st day of school too!! Nap time in Hunter's bed!!

So here goes nothin'!! I've been checking out friends' blogs and loving them -so I will give it a try! What a great way for people to stop on by and see what's going on with the Wylie and Sarah Bunch.

Well, we've just had an exciting week here at the Bell house! Wyatt started 1st grade last Tuesday, August 4th. He seems to like it so far, although I have to tell all of you with younger children, they don't come home giving you as many details as you would like to hear. It's more like "yeah, Mom, it was a fun day. The bus was hot, and my favorite part was recess." So anyway, more fun to come tomorrow as Wyatt will be starting football practice for the 49ers (he is playing flag). So that, too, will be keeping us pretty busy. So I need to practice the whole posting pictures thing. This is of Wyatt's 1st day - him getting off the bus after his 1st day as a 1st grader!!
